The massive shape, lightened only by the trine of the battlements, well underlines theaustere grandeur of the fortified village below. The castle, located on the old street of Garda and the Giudicarie Esteriori, is an evocative decorative and historical model set in a unique Trentino landscape. A collapse, in 1920, deprived it of the quadrangular keep, but already in the eighteenth century the castle suffered the dispossession of the troops of Vendome. The walls, which tightly surround each other, seem to defend it; rich in history, they retain epigraphs and heraldic coats of arms of princes and bishops. Not far away, the small Lake Tenno softens the colours.
To date, it is private property that cannot be visited.
