Lean-to Ristikoski is located in Hyrynsalmi by beautiful rapid. Lean-to is achievable by car.

Lean-to Ristikoski is located between Hyrynsalmi and Ukkohalla, next to Rehvelintie. It is achievable all year. Lean-to Ristikoski is great destination for daytrips and it also serves bypassing kayakers and snowmobilists. Walking distance from the road is around 100 metres. There is fireplace, outdoor toilet and dining table by the lean-to Ristikoski.

Directions

By car from center of Hyrynsalmi, turn right to Puolangantie and continue on it 8 km, then turn right to Rehvelintie. Continue on Rehvelintie around 800 metres, until you cross bridge. Lean-to is located on right side of the bridge.
By car form Ukkohalla drive towards Hyrynsalmi by Hallanmaantie. Turn right to Puolangantie and continue on it 4,6 km, then turn left to Rehvelintie. Continue on Rehvelintie around 800 metres, until you cross bridge. Lean-to is located on right side of the bridge.
