The Löytöjoki lean-to is located in a scenic location on the banks of the Löytöjoki River, on the opposite bank of Löytöjoki tar and turpentine factory. The campfire site has an outdoor dining area, an outdoor hood and a log cabin. Easily accessible - walking distance from the car to the shed is about 700 meters along a well-maintained path.
The municipality of Hyrynsalmi is responsible for the maintenance of this campfire site.

Directions
From Hyrynsalmi, drive on road 891 to Puolanka and turn right after 1.1 km to Hallantie, there is sign Petäjälahti 8. Drive around 14 km on Hallantie and then turn right at the sign, then turn left at the second junctuin. There is a car park at the end of the road, around 1.3 km from Hallantie. The tar and turpentine factory is about 700 metres along a marked route from the car park.
This destination cannot be reached by winter time.
