Der Bichelsee liegt im Hinterthurgau und ist eine wahre Seeperle, eingebettet zwischen sanften Hügeln bietet sich dort Badevergnügen in einer teichrosengesäumten Idylle.

Das Naturfreibad am Bichelsee, einem naturbelassenen Weiher, ist ein beliebtes Ziel bei Velofahrern und Familien. Mit nur 300 Metern Durchmesser fällt der Bichelsee eindeutig in die Kategorie «klein aber fein», das Badeerlebnis ist jedoch grenzüberschreitend: Die Kantonsgrenze zu Zürich verläuft direkt hinter dem Kiosk. Wer den Tag lieber auf statt im Wasser verbringt, kann ein kleines Boot mieten. Ein modernes Kinderbecken garantiert sicheren Planschspass für die Kleinen.
