Der Badesee bei Jülich-Barmen ist aus einer Kiesabgrabung entstanden. Er hat einen kleinen Sandstrand, eine Liegewiese und einen Kinderspielplatz. Auch kann hier von einem Steg aus geangelt werden. Teilweise liegt der See in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet.
