"Frau Lee" by the artist Isabel Lange - A piece of art on the art path depicting a lady with flowing hair and dress.
At the center of Isabel Lange's work is the material steel. With handcrafted precision and a fine sense of form, she transforms the heavy material into surprisingly light and poetic sculptures. The steel in her figures is pierced, allowing light and landscape to shine through. The environment becomes part of the figure, and the figure part of the environment - a central motif in Lange's work.
Frau Lee (Lee = from nautical language: the side turned away from the wind) stands on the wine and stone educational path, her hair and dress are blown forward by the wind, which mostly comes from the west from the Palatinate Forest.
Directions: Walk uphill on Haardtgasse to the statue Haardtmadonna, then go left downhill and after about 200 meters on the right side, Frau Lee stands before the vineyards on a green area.
