Der Untere Meierhof wurde erstmal im Jahre 1064 als Besitz des Klosters Otmarsheim im Elsass erwähnt.

In der jetzige Form wurde er am Anfang des 17. Jahrhunder erbaut und ging 1722 durch Tausch in Privatbesitz über.
