The original building was covered in hooked slate, which dates it to the 19th century.

Grâce au mécénat d’entreprise, aux nombreux donateurs, aux municipalités locales, à la Communauté de Communes Bresse et Saône, aux artisans et aux bénévoles, la restauration a été réalisée entre 2020 et 2023. Les élèves de la section menuiserie bac pro du lycée Carriat de Bourg ont préparé la porte et les planches du bardage et ils ont posé ces éléments sur place.
