Brühl's Terrace in Dresden's Old Town offers impressive views over the Elbe and invites you to stroll and discover between historic buildings and art.
Brühl's Terrace, also known as the Balcony of Europe, is an architectural ensemble in the heart of Dresden. Situated high above the banks of the Elbe, it runs for around 500 meters between the Augustus Bridge and the former Carola Bridge. Where fortifications once stood, museums, monuments and parks now invite visitors to explore. Visitors can experience the combination of history, art and panorama: from the view of the Albertinum to the gentle lapping of the Elbe. With the historic Academy of Fine Arts, access to Dresden Fortress and sculptures by renowned artists, the terrace offers impressive diversity. A place that makes you want to rediscover it again and again.

Directions
Brühl's Terrace is centrally located in Dresden's Old Town and can be easily reached on foot. If you want to travel sustainably, take the train to Dresden main station and then take the streetcar to the "Theaterplatz" stop. From there it is only a few minutes' walk. Cyclists will also find an idyllic route along the Elbe cycle path. The Saxon steamboat also docks nearby.

Drivers can use the surrounding parking garages, but should be aware of the limited access in the old town.
