Hier sind zwei Ziegelbrennöfen zu sehen, die in spätantiker Zeit in Betrieb waren.

Damals war die Koloniestadt bereits weitgehend verlassen und die Menschen siedelten vor allem am Rhein in und um das castrum rauracense. Neben den beiden Öfen, die für die Besichtigung erhalten werden konnten, gab es hier noch mindestens vier weitere, es wurde also in recht grossem Umfang produziert.
