Wo sich heute eine Wiese mit einigen Obstbäumen befindet, stand in römischer Zeit ein großer, multifunktionaler Gebäudekomplex, der einen mit Sandsteinplatten belegten Platz umgab. In den zahlreichen kleinen Räumen (tabernae) rings um diesen Platz wurden Waren und Dienstleistungen angeboten.
