Pilgrim walks in Rottweil

The Palmbühl Pilgrimage Route creates a connection from the Beuron Jakobus Route to the Neckar-Baar Jakobus Route. It leads with a magnificent view along the Albtrauf through the open hilly landscape of the Albvorland into the Neckar Valley. A route variant leads to the Church of St. Jakobus in Zimmern unter der Burg. From here, you can also hike to Gößlingen to the Kirchberg Pilgrimage Route.

The Rottenburg-Thann Way of St. James takes us from the Neckar over the Black Forest into the Rhine plain of southern Baden and Alsace up to the foot of the Vosges.

Pilgrimage on the Kinzigtal Jakobusweg

7 daily stages between 16 and 22 km - with a total distance of 127 km and 3,700 meters of elevation, the Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg crosses the Black Forest along the Kinzig from east to west in one of the most beautiful river valleys. The path leads through picturesque small towns from Loßburg to Kehl. The Kinzigtäler Jakobusweg is an approximately 100 km long section of the world-famous Way of St. James. It offers beautiful viewpoints, varied landscapes from the Black Forest to the foothill zone with vineyards, natural monuments, historic old towns, cultural and geological sights, churches, monasteries, and chapels.
