Pilgrim trails in Grigno

Here is a route that mixes history and food and wine: in the Trentino section, the Via Romea Germanica is mixed with an ideal taste trail through the members of the Trentino Wine and Food Trail. Through this proposal you will pass from the Piana Rotaliana - an area par excellence devoted to wine production - to the Valsugana, an area that is linked to the production of apples, small fruits and corn, passing through the Trento area, a place of choice for the production of the Trentino metodo classico.

We are on the Italian stretch of the Via Romea Strata from Enego to Gallio. It is a mountain stage, sparsely inhabited, leading to the discovery of solitary landscapes but with a very rich history.

To continue our pilgrimage from Borgo Valsugana we have now a choice of two routes: to continue on the Via Claudia Augusta, taking the way to Telve (SP110), then SP31 to Carzano, via Mulino, passed the bridge on the trorrent, to the right to Scurelle, then Strigno. Out of Strigno we take the SP78 and at Villa Agnedo, at the crossing with Via Ortigara, we take to the left to return on the cycling lane.  Otherwise from the centre of Borgo we shall take the cycling lane, which will take us straight to Villa Agnedo. We recommend this route because of its light traffic.
