Pilgrim walks in Cella Monte

Easy route offering pleasant panoramic views of the village of Ottiglio and the surrounding hills.

Rather long trail that winds through the hills between the village of Cella Monte and the hamlet of Coppi, passing through fields, vineyards, and groves, in the splendid landscape of Monferrato, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014; along the route, there are reproductions of some works by the well-known painter Gianni Colonna, who lives in the hamlet of Coppi.

Path also suitable for mountain biking. Together with trail 602, this route forms the long itinerary called the “Alessandro Davite Trail” (dedicated to the late member of the San Salvatore Alpine Club and characterized by signs with the MPC acronym) which connects the Sanctuary of Madonna del Pozzo to the Sanctuary of Sacro Monte di Crea, with a total length of 36.50 km.
