The second leg of the eastern route passes through Padua, running alongside the Church of the Eremitani and the Scrovegni Chapel. At Pontevigodarzere, it takes the Muson dei Sassi levee and follows it northward to Camposampiero, where the Santuari Antoniani are located. This is the Way of St. Anthony, the route the saint took during the final hours of his life. There are numerous signs along the way.

We are on the national branch that goes from Bassano. The route starts from the Valsugana and heads towards Camposampiero to connect with the main path of the Via Romea Strata in Padua. Nature offers us the splendid Oliero caves and the trail along the Brenta and Muson dei Sassi rivers. Bassano is significant as a crossroads between mountains and plains and carries valuable historical, artistic, and religious memories. Of great importance is the memory of Saint Anthony in Camposampiero and Padua. The food and wine scene features a fine processing of asparagus and mushrooms.
