The Birdhouse Hotel is a 30m2 cottage, ideal for 2-4 people. The cottage has a panoramic window, 2 motorized beds and sofa bed for two people, a well- equipped kitchen-living room and a bathroom with its own sauna.The Birdhouse Hotel Jättiläisenmaa is located on top of the Kivesvaara hill.

Payment policy
Rates: Booking rates are indicated during the booking process. Prices include Finnish VAT. Prices are valid only for the stated period. All prices are displayed and will be charged in local currency EUR. Jättiläisenmaa Oy reserves the right to change these prices without prior notice. Price lists for additional services such as breakfast, bedlines, towels, final cleaning and pets are available during the reservation process. All remaining payments must be made in full upon check-in at the hotel.
Confirmation and payment: The reservation shall be treated as confirmed when the advance is fully paid. Jättiläisenmaa Oy reserves the right to release all services and facilities that have not been paid in advance of the agreed payment schedule. Successful online bookings will send an automatic booking confirmation to the email, where you can see the booked apartments and payments.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy and Changes: A cancellation fee is always 10% of a accommodation fee for a confirmed and paid reservation. If the reservation is canceled 60-30 days before planned arrival day, the cancellation fee is 30% of a accommodation fee. If the reservation is canceled 29-8 days before planned arrival day, the cancellation fee is 50% of a accommodation fee.
If the reservation is canceled less than 7 days before the planned arrival day, the total price of the reservation will be charged. If the reason for the cancellation is the live sickness, serious accident or death of the client or the same household, all the benefits received are returned, except for a cancellation fee 10% of a accommodation fee. The payment will not be refunded without the approved medical certificate. Any changes to bookings must be made in writing via posti@arcticgiant.fi.
Check-in and check-out requirements: Guest may check -in between 16:00 and 20:00. Later check-in time must be reported to the hotel reception at posti@arcticgiant.fi or +358 40 7487391
We kindly ask all guests to vacate their room by 12.00 in the morning when departing, unless later departures are reported as part of your reservation. The room should be handed in the same condition as it was at reception time. When the apartment is in an inappropriate condition, a separate final cleaning fee may be charged for the apartment.
Accessibility and special needs: Contact us at posti@arcticgiant.fi so we will find suitable accommodation for you. We reserve the right for an extra charge if special needs are not included in the normal accommodation price.
Parking: Free parking in the Jättiläisenmaa is only taking place in the designated places.
No smoking: Guest are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas, except the designated areas which are appropriately marked. Breaking of Jättiläisenmaa rules about smoking we will charge 500€ fee.
Child friendly: Children under 4 years of age free of charge are free of charge.
Pets: Pets are only allowed in apartments that are not allergy -free apartments. Damage caused by pets must be reported directly to the hotel reception on +358 40 7487391. Compensation may be claimed for damage caused by pets.
Force majeure: Jättiläisenmaa Oy is not liable or will not pay any compensation if its services are blocked or directly or indirectly affected by force majeure or because of a situation that is not reasonably controlled, including flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, terrorist acts, fires or the collapse of electricity, gas, water or other utility services.
