The Ahr Valley Route leads from the source of the Ahr to its confluence with the Rhine. The special charm of the Ahr Valley lies in its diverse landscape. From Blankenheim to Schuld, it is a hillside path; from there, it follows the Ahr as a riverside path. From Altenahr onwards, the Ahr Valley Route touches all the well-known wine villages in Germany's largest red wine growing region. Significant hiking trails, such as the Ahrsteig and four main hiking trails of the Eifelverein, pass through the Ahr Valley.

Autumn is already announced by the first colorful trees, and on the orchards higher up, apples and pears have long since been harvested. With every step, we leave the noise and bustle of everyday life further behind.
