    Sehr schöne Rundwanderung, für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hoher Asphaltanteil, die tolle Natur wiegt das aber wieder auf. De Wegschleife um Schloss Arenthal ist meines Erachtens nicht mehr begehbar und auch in keiner Karte verzeichnet. Wir sind alternativ ein paar Meter vor dem Schloss an der Kreisstraße entlang gegangen und dort wieder auf die Route gestoßen. Unser Highlight war der Wegverlauf auf der Hochebene von Koisdorf.     Habe die Tour am 01.03.26 bei überwiegend sonnigen 15°C gemacht. Lässt sich wie beschrieben gut gehen. Ist abwechslungsreich, verläuft für meinen Geschmack zu viel auf Asphalt und durch Ortschaften. Auch wenn ich Bad Bodendorf echt charmant finde.

    Stand 2025: nach der Flutkatastrophe ist der Weg an einigen Stellen so nicht mehr begehbar, weil die Brücken nicht mehr da sind. Am besten am alten Kurpark links zur erhaltenen Brücke und anschließend an dem Schwanenteich, Tiergehege und den Tennisplätzen vorbei. Dann wieder links entlang der Felder und am Wilhelmshof vorbei, wo man auch einkehren kann. Ab da rechts am Hof vorbei kommt man recht schnell nach Sinzig. Sehr abwechslungsreiche und recht leichte Route. Schloss Sinzig kann auf dem Weg besichtigt werden. Einkehren kann man in der Cäciliahütte auf dem Weg zurück. Von da aus sind es nur noch 50 Minuten bis zum Wanderparkplatz an der Schmicklerhütte. Von dort aus kann man auch gut starten.
