Az erdei iskola épületei Kemencén, a matracszállás Bernecebarátiban található.
A minősített erdészeti erdei iskola komplex programot nyújt elsősorban általános iskolai csoportok részére, ahol erdészeti bemutató-és oktatóterem, dendropark, fedett foglalkoztató is van. Bernecebarátiban pedig matracszállás, oktatóterem (és étkező), tálalókonyha, tanári szoba várja a vendégeket, összesen 30 fő részére kínálva szálláslehetőséget.
Erdei iskolás csoportok, osztálykiránduláson, tanulmányúton részt vevő csoportok, baráti társaságok, családok, bakancsos turisták és zarándokok által egyaránt kedvelt helyszín.

Szállás díjak
- felnőtt (14 éves kortól): 5500 Ft/fő/éj
- felnőtt kiemelt időszakban: 6000 Ft/fő/éj
- gyermek (4-16 éves korig): 3500 Ft/fő/éj
- gyermek (4 éves kor alatt): ingyenes
- csoportos ár (16-18 éves korig, 21 főtől): 4500 Ft/fő/éj
- teljes ház kis létszámú csoportoknak: 120 000 Ft/éj
- teljes ház kiemelt időszakban kis létszámú csoportoknak: 130 000 Ft/éj (plusz a konyhahasználat)
Egyéb díjak
- Idegenforgalmi adó (18 év felett): 300 Ft/fő/éj
- Teljes garnitúra ágynemű (opcionális): 1300 Ft/garnitúra
- Étkezési lehetőség 10 Főtől Bernecebaráti konyhájáról - előzetes megbeszélés szerint
- Konyhahasználat étkezéssel: 400 Ft/fő/nap
- Konyhahasználat önellátással: 600 Ft/fő/nap
Készpénzzel és SZÉP kártyával is lehet fizetni.

- Szob vasútállomásától busszal tudunk a helyszínre utazni. A Bernecebaráti, Bem utca nevű megállóban kell leszállni.

Directions
- A buszmegállótól észak felé pár lépésnyire forduljunk jobbra a Széchenyi útra, melyen a K+, majd az S+ jelzéseket is követhetjük. Az út jobb oldalán találjuk a szállást (1,7 km).
Parking
- Vácról a 2-es úton Bernecebarátiig kell autóznunk. A településen balra kell kanyarodnunk a Széchenyi útra, melyen 1,7 km után jobbra találjuk a célpontot.
- Szob felől az Ipolydamásd - Letkés - Ipolytölgyes - Vámosmikola - Kemence - Bernecebaráti útvonalon érkezhetünk. Jobbra keressük a Széchényi utat.
- Balassagyarmat felől Ipolyszög után kell a 22-es útról Dejtár felé letérni, majd Drégelypalánkon át a 2-es útra térve nyugati irányba Bernecebarátiig utazni.
- Parkolni az épület előtt lehet.
