The rugged summit of the Rappenspitze can be reached from the Falzthurnalm via the Dristlalm.
This winter hike leads from Pertisau on the Tirol Achensee through the snow-covered Falzthurn valley into the kingdom of the chamois.
This somewhat longer hut approach is naturally recommended especially if you arrive by public transport.
The Achensee separates the Rofan mountains from the Karwendel and thus also the Lamsenjoch hut from the Erfurter hut.
Today we go past the idyllic Achensee from the Rofan to the next mountain group - the Karwendel will host us for the following days.
