Our Alpengasthof Gaugen is located 1.650 meters above sea level in the middle of the magnificient mountain scenery oft he carinthian alps. We are in the center of the Kreuzeckgruppe that is known for numerous challenging trips and relaxing hikes. The beautiful nature is full of wild mushroom and different berries and in the forest school you and your children will get lots of knowlegde about our environment. You will also find appropriate conditions as a cyclist on our mountains.
You can reach us on a 11 km long and well paved mountain road. We have parking lots directly in front of our house for all our guests. In addition to our headquarter is our comfortable guesthouse with relaxing rooms and a balcony to enjoy the special view every morning.
