Hotel Ukkohalla offers the opportunity to sleep on top of the Kainuu region and close to skiing slopes, wellness and restaurant services, right above the lake Syväjärvi.

The Ukkohalla Resort offers 30 Ski Chalets, located beside wellnes- and restaurant services on the beach of lake Syväjärvi. The Sky Cabin Ukkohalla apartments are made of solid logs. They are located on the top of Kainuu, on the Ukkohalla slopes, featuring hotel-level equipment. Sky Cabins have glass ceilings and walls, allowing panoramic views of the natural and northern sky.

The Ukkohalla Ski&Sport Resort can be reached with the bus from Kajaani. Within 2 hours and 40 minutes one can reach the bus stop Ukkohalla Lauttakylä, from where the Resort is just 2 km away.

In the skiing season there is a ski bus from Oulu and Kajaani to Ukkohalla.

Directions

Coming from Kajaani, you can reach the Ukkohalla Ski&Sport Resort in a little over an hour by taking the route E63.

If you come from Kuusamo you can take the E63 and drive for about 2 hours south until you arrive at your destination.

Coming from Oulu you take the route 837 and arrive at your destination in a little over 2 hours.

Parking is possible directly at the Ukkohalla Ski & Sport Resort.
