Az Őrség fővárosában, Őriszentpéteren található 120 éves vendégház a hagyományos őrségi népi építészeti stílus jellegzetességeit mutatja, az Alszer egyik legszebb részén áll.
Tévé nincs, de van helyette mini könyvtár, különböző sporteszközök a közös játékhoz, a gyermekeknek játszótér, a nagyoknak hintaágy és kerti bútorok. Az Őrség bővelkedik látnivalókban, a környék bejárásában vendéglátóitok hasznos tanácsokkal tudnak segíteni.
Őriszentpéteren érdemes megnéznetek a román kori katolikus templomot és a közelében feltárt 15. századi téglaégetőt. A Szikszay Edit Helytörténeti és Néprajzi Gyűjteményt is érdemes felkeresni, ahol az Őrség történetét, valamint a jellegzetes őrségi tárgyak bemutatásával az itt élő emberek mindennapjait ismerhetitek meg.
A közelben több jelzett turistaút és kerékpáros túraútvonal is halad, a Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra a háztól kevesebb mint 1 kilométerre vezet.

- A vasútállomástól 2,1 kilométert kell gyalogolnunk a szálláshelyig. Észak felé indulunk a Baksaszeren, majd a főúthoz érve balra fordulunk a Városszeren. A körforgalomtól jobbra megyünk, egészen az első kereszteződésig, ez már az Alszer. Itt jobbra fordulunk és kelet felé haladunk. Kb. 350 méter után kell balra fordulni és a kereszteződésnél balra tartva érjük el a vendégházat.
- A buszmegállótól kelet-délkelet felé kell indulni és a főúton átkelve elindulni kelet fel az Alszeren. Kb. 350 méter után kell balra fordulni és a kereszteződésnél balra tartva érjük el a vendégházat. Összesen 650 métert kell gyalogolnunk.

- Megközelíthető a 8-as útról Csákánydoroszlónál délnek fordulva, vagy a 86-os útról Zalalövő felé (nyugatra) fordulva.
- Parkolási lehetőség a vendégház előtt az udvaron van.
