On bike through Czech Canada and a bit of Waldviertel

We like to return to Czech Canada for trips on foot or bike. In the summer of 2019 the choice was made for bicycles. As the base, we chose Nová Bystřice with accommodation at the train station. The weather was great, so we can share with you 4 bike rides along the South Bohemian cycle paths and a bit of Austria and a number of destinations and places worth visiting, where you are not overwhelmed by crowds of tourists and the landscape still has the charm of times when people and nature understood each other more.
The paths will take you to Litschau and Reingers in Austria and in the Czech Republic to Jindřichův Hradec, Stráž nad Nežárkou, Landštejn, to a bison farm in Rožnov, the church in Klášter and pre-war fortifications, to an incredible museum of American veterans and narrow-gauge railway which takes you through the meadows and forests of Czech Canada. And that's not all.
We traveled on all kinds of bikes, so we can confirm that the rides are suitable for both trekking, mountain and electric bikes.
