Family hikes

There are many excursion options for families in the Wiedtal and Rengsdorfer Land. Highlights include the Little Wäller (walking) trails, the vitality trail and the three dwarf trails around Rengsdorf. There is also a rally with questionnaires on two of the trails.
There are three swimming pools in the region. The Wiedtalbad in Hausen / Wied near Waldbreitbach, the outdoor pool in Rengsdorf with mineralized spring water and the idyllic natural swimming pool in Niederhonnefeld.
Other activities such as fishing, geocaching, five campsites directly on the Wied, the redwood forest, a barefoot trail with a water treading pool, the Laubach waterfall and numerous great viewpoints such as the water tower in Kurtscheid round off the offer.
