Zeller-Hütte
Die im Jahre 1901 erbaute Schutzhütte liegt am traditionellen Anstieg zum Warscheneckgipfel (2.388 m), am Europäischen Weitwanderweg Nr. 4 und am Kalkalpenweg inmitten eines einzigartigen Lärchenwaldes und unberührter Natur.
Die Alpenvereinshütte der Sektion Windischgarsten wurde in den letzten Jahren mehrmals erweitert und modernisiert und zählt mittlerweile zu einer der schönsten Hütten Österreichs. Kleine helle Schlafräume und die neuen Doppelzimmer machen die Nächtigung auf der Hütte zu einem unvergessenen Wohlfühlerlebnis. (siehe Online-Reservierung). Von den beiden gemütlichen Gaststuben und der West- bzw. Ost Terrasse aus genießt man einen überwältigenden Blick auf die Bergriesen Priel und Spitzmauer, sowie ins Sengsen- und Reichraminger Hintergebirge, Windischgarstner- und Stodertal.
Auf der Hütte wird mit regionalen und sorgfältig ausgewählten Produkten gekocht und herzhafte Hüttenschmankerl mit oder ohne Fleisch zubereitet. Der hausgemachte Topfen- und Apfelstrudel ist weit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt und darf auf der Speisekarte nicht mehr fehlen.
Der Weg zur Hütte ist mit Schnitzereien von Siegi herzlich gestaltet und die Wanderwege sind gut markiert. Die Anstiege von der Hütte zum Schallerkogel, Lagelsberg und Warscheneck sind eher ungefährlich, aber man braucht schon etwas Ausdauer, Kondition und gutes Wetter.

Wer seinen Hund mitnehmen möchte, muss bitte unbedingt beachten, dass dieser nicht in die Lager bzw. Zimmer darf! Wir haben im Nebengebäude Schlafplätze für die Vierbeiner vorgesehen und setzen voraus, dass dieser alleine bleibt. Eine Voranmeldung des Hundes ist bitte unbedingt notwendig.

Opening times
Winter: Von 5. Dezember 2025 bis 22. März 2026 ist die Hütte jeweils von Freitag bis Sonntag geöffnet, von 26. Dezember durchgehend bis 6. Jänner und ebenso in den OÖ Semesterferien. Auf Anfrage wird auch für eine Gruppe unter der Woche geöffnet.
