A mountain hut operated by the Austrian Alpine Club
Our hut is part of the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten” (With Children at Mountain Huts) campaign, an initiative by the Alpine Clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol promoting family-friendly mountain huts
The hut is open from May through the end of October and is located at the Dürrensteinalm at 1,343 meters above sea level. It has 47 beds and is a popular destination in the Lunzer See area. It is a family-friendly lodge and serves as an ideal starting point for a variety of hikes in both summer and winter.
Suitable for children ages 3–4 and up.
