The Wolfsschluchthütte in the Breitenbachtal, near the municipality of Esthal, is the cosy hiking rest stop of the Pfälzerwald-Verein OG Esthal. It is very easy to reach via many hiking trails. There is also a car park directly in front of the house. Volunteers offer refreshments on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Located in the Breitenbach Valley, where it is pleasantly cool even in very hot weather. The hut is one of the few that still maintains a genuine hut character. For children there is a nice playground and the possibility to play by the water and in the forest. The hut can be reached on foot from Esthal, Breitenstein or Elmstein.
