Die Jausenstation wartet auf mit traditionellen Kärntner Gerichten, hergestellt aus Produkten der unmittelbaren Umgebung und verfügt über 6 Doppelzimmer für müde Wanderer. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber gemütlich eingerichtet und die gemeinschaftlichen Sanitäranlagen auf neuestem Stand. Auf der sonnigen Terrasse mit phantastischem Panoramablick über Nockberge bis in die Karawanken lässt es sich herrlich entspannen, auch für Tagesausflugsgäste der ideale Platz, um eine Rast einzulegen
Mitten im Herzen von Kärnten, egal von wo – über Bad Kleinkirchheim z.B. mit der Kaiserburgbahn oder von Arriach – egal wie ... zu Fuß, per Mountainbike oder mit dem Auto (Mautstraße von Arriach) ist die Walderhütte ein lohnendes Ziel für den erfahrenen Wanderer oder einen entspannten Familienausflug.
