Eine Schutzhütte des Alpenverein Austria und der Ortsgruppe Voisthaler.
Nachstehend finden Sie alle wichtigen Infos, die Sie für die Planung Ihres nächsten Bergerlebnisses benötigen. Die anbei dargestellten Aktivitäts- piktogramme zeigen Ihnen, was Sie rund um die Hütte erwartet. Zusätzlich erhalten Sie Angaben über die Ausstattung der Hütte. Bei weiteren Fragen rufen Sie uns gerne an!
Die alte Voisthalerhütte, gelegen auf 1654 m am Hochschwab in der Steiermark, wurde 1898 errichtet und war somit schon über 120 Jahre alt. Aus dem kleinen Blockhaus wurde im Laufe der Zeit eine Hütte mit Platz für bis zu 60 Personen. Angesichts des Bauzustandes und der technischen bzw. hygienischen Auflagen musste die Voisthalerhütte jedoch neu errichtet werden, da der Altbau nicht mehr wirtschaftlich zu sanieren war.
Der Rohbau der neuen Voithalerhütte wurde im Herbst 2020 fertiggestellt, 2021 erfolgte der Innenausbau.
