Unbewirtschaftete Hütte im Winteral, einem Seitental des Lechtals
Die Schwabegghütte liegt auf 1699 m oberhalb von Hinterhornbach. Direkt hinter der Hütte in nordwestlicher Richtung ragt der markante Hochvogel empor. Nach Süden erheben sich die hohen Berge wie der Große Krottenkopf, Schöneggerscharte und Klimmspitze.
