Schöne kleine Hütte mitten im Wald, bei der man auch bei gutem Wetter eine kleine Pause machen kann.

Die ursprüngliche Schutzhütte (Pferdestall) wurde im damaligen Forstrevier Grillenburg für Waldarbeiter und Pferde zum Holztransport unweit der ehemaligen Abwurfstellen für das Holz errichtet, welches man bis 1872 nach Dresden flößte. Sie ist heute Rastplatz für Wanderer.
