Die Schönfeldhütte liegt in den Schlierseer Bergen im gut erschlossenen Spitzingseegebiet eingebettet in liebliches Almgelände am Fuß des Jägerkamp. Sie ist nicht nur für Bergwanderungen im Sommer und Herbst ein geeigneter Stützpunkt, sondern bietet auch lohnende Ziele für Skitouren und Winterwanderungen – auf Gipfel wie Jägerkamp, Taubenstein oder Aiplspitz oder wie die klassische Rotwandreibn. Die Schönfeldhütte ist ideal für Familienaufenthalte geeignet, und Kinder finden in der Hüttenumgebung garantiert ihre Abenteuerspielplätze.
