Our hut is the ideal base for climbers and hikers in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. On this page, you’ll find important information about getting here and hiking trails. If you have any questions, please contact us. If you’re planning to stay at the hut with dogs, please check with us in advance to confirm.
The Schlernbödele Hut is located in the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park on a small meadow at the foot of South Tyrol’s landmark. The hut, which has been awarded the environmental seal, features two dormitories, each with 10 sleeping spots, and a winter room with two beds.
It serves as a base for climbing tours to the Santnerspitze, Burgstallwand, Mummelter Kopf, and Schattenkofel. It’s also ideally suited as the starting or ending point of a hut-to-hut tour in the Dolomites.
Exquisite regional ingredients are used to prepare traditional South Tyrolean dishes.
Our hut participates in the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten” (With Children at Mountain Huts) initiative, which is supported by over 100 family-friendly huts operated by Alpine clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol. Our lodge is suitable for children ages 7 to 8 and older. Special activities for families with children include hiking on the Schlern or to the Seiser Alm, the nearby climbing garden, and our playground, which complements the natural play opportunities in the area surrounding our lodge.
