Vom Pötschenpass (Bad Goisern) über den Sarstein-Gipfel: 5 Std., 980 Hm ↑

Von Steeg-Gosau: 5−6 Std., 1130 Hm ↑

Besteigungen: Sarsteingipfel 1975 m - 2Std.

Matratzenlager: 11 + 3 Plätze

Selbstversorgerhütte, bei Besuch der Hütte ist die Übernachtung (Hüttenschlafsack erforderlich) nur mit einem Mitglied der Ortsgruppe Obertraun möglich.
