Access trail to the mountain hut
In a roughly three-hour hike, we walk from the Upper Bavarian Spitzingsee to the Rotwandhaus.
This rather unusual approach is only really attractive in terms of scenery in its second half.
After initially hiking on wide tracks, this rather unusual approach to the hut offers enchanting mountain scenery.
This not very common hut approach is especially well suited for autumn.
This comparatively short hut approach offers wonderful views of the Bavarian Prealps.
From Spitzingsattel, one could also ascend more briefly via Untere Maxlrainer Alm to Rotwandhaus.
