Rottenmanner Hut
In just under an hour, you can hike along our “Pilgrimage Trail of World Religions” to the hut, located right next to a biotope that resembles a jewel.
We’re nestled in the Rottenmanner Tauern and our hut’s mountain—the Stein am Mandl.
It’s easily accessible via child-friendly trails, both along the northeast ridge and via the Seesteig. The Globockensee is a leisurely 20-minute walk away.
For more experienced hikers, there’s a ridge hike from the Stein am Mandl to the Hochhaide, or for those seeking a real challenge, the traverse over the Jägerscharte to the Gr. Bösenstein can be tackled.
Our hut is part of the “Mit Kindern auf Hütten” campaign, an initiative of the Alpine Clubs in Germany, Austria, and South Tyrol promoting family-friendly huts. Suitable for children ages 3–4 and up.
Many of our guests enjoy coming back often.
