Rieder Hut
In 2025, the renovation and extensive modernization of the kitchen began and was completed. Additional work on the exterior will continue over the next few years.
All trails leading to the Rieder Hütte are clearly marked and signposted. You can find the descriptions here.
As a day visitor, you can expect traditional mountain hut cuisine, consisting largely of vegetarian dishes. But vegans and meat-eaters will also find plenty to enjoy. In both summer and winter, you can enjoy an outdoor dining area with a wonderful view of the Großer Höllkogel. Even in bad weather, you can still enjoy a magnificent view of our local mountain from the cozy dining room.
If you have any questions, just reach out to me via email or WhatsApp; I’m usually hard to reach by phone due to poor reception and my preference for personal communication with my guests. But I’m happy to call you back.
To make a reservation, please use the Alpine Club’s reservation system. If you’re planning to stay overnight with dogs, please send me an email in addition to making your reservation.
I’m already looking forward to your visit at the Rieder Hütte.
