Herzlich Willkommen auf der Polinik Hütte!Ausgangspunkt ist Obervellach, der Hauptort des Mölltals. Mit dem Auto fährt man über die Schattseite auf einem Schotterweg bis hinauf zum "Schrankenparkplatz" auf rund 1.480 Meter Seehöhe. Auf gut markierten Steig (Tafel "Polinikhütte") einfach durch den Wald hinauf folgen, mehrmals wird die Forststraße gekreuzt . Schließlich erreicht man nach ca. 60 bis 90 Minuten eine große Almwiese mit der Polinikhütte (1.873 m)
Die familienfreundliche Hütte überzeugt mit guter Hausmannskost und Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Von der sonnigen Hüttenterrasse haben Sie einen faszinierenden Ausblick in die Welt der 3000er des Nationalparks HOHE TAUERN bis hin zum Millstättersee.
Die Fahrt mit dem Mountainbike oder E-Bike ist von Obervellach bis zur Hütte erlaubt und freigegeben!

Die Polinik Hütte ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für:

eine leichte Wanderung ca. 60 Minuten auf das Ebeneck (2.120 m), perfektes Gipfelglück für ganze FamilieAlpine Tour für Bergsteiger auf den höchsten Gipfel der Kreuzeckgruppe. In ca. 2 1/2 Stunden erreicht man auf einem gut markierten Weg den Polinik (2784 m)[Bn]
