Palatinate Forest House

Tucked away at the edge of the forest, yet not far from the village, stands the Pfälzerwaldhaus of the Kirkel-Neuhäusel branch. This hiking lodge is well-known and much loved for its peaceful setting and the magnificent views of the village and Kirkel Castle.

The Pfälzerwald-Verein Kirkel-Neuhäusel e. V. organises walks and group activities for people of all ages.

A natural, meaningful approach to leisure, numerous nature conservation initiatives, as well as mutual understanding and lots and lots of fun are at the forefront of our activities. Where else can you find an association where the whole family, friends and acquaintances can take part in the association’s activities together? Shared experiences, a wide variety of activities and events help to share experiences and experiences with others, which are rarely found in this form. This takes the form of family-friendly adventure hikes, regular guided, educational, cycling and senior citizens’ hikes, right through to organised trips, festivals and leisure activities. The club meets with other clubs and organises a wide variety of hikes.
