Die Muttseehütte ist von Mitte Juni bis Mitte Oktober bewartet. In den Wintermonaten steht ein Winterraum mit 8 Schlafplätzen zur Verüfgung.

SAC-Hütte am Kistenpass in den Glarner Alpen, südlich von Linthal auf einem Hochplateau über dem namensgebenden Muttsee gelegen und Eigentum der SAC-Sektion Winterthur. Die Muttseehütte verfügt über 69 Schlafplätze, die alle mit nordischen Duvets ausgestattet sind. Im Dachgeschoss können zusätzliche 11 Lager belegt werden (Wolldecken).

Halbpension, Tages-, regionale und Hausspezialitäten, exquisites Kaffee- & Teesortiment, feine Apéros und erlesene Weine.
Fünf Gehminuten von der neuen Staumauer Muttsee entfernt - mit 1054 Metern die längste der Schweiz und auf rund 2500 Metern über Meer die höchstgelegene Europas.
