The Martrüel hut was built by the farmers of Wiesen as a mountain hut. In the summer of 2003, this mountain hut was converted and serves us as an unattended mountain hut for self-catering.
The Martrüel mountain hut was used as a mountain hut until the end of the 1990's. The hut is situated at an altitude of 2180 m above sea level and is open from June to October.
Opening times
The hut is open from June to October.
Rooms
The hut has about 20 sleeping places in a dormitory with woolen blankets. Please bring a sleeping bag.
Food and drink
The hut is not normally staffed. Food and drinks can only be purchased when the hut warden is present. The hut wardens Frida and Jürg will be happy to advise you personally if you would like to organize a brunch or anything else.
