La malga di Romeno sorge a 1769 m di altitudine ai piedi del maestoso Monte Roen. E’ aperta tutto l’anno ed è meta di escursionisti, bikers, ciaspolatori e sci alpinisti. È meta ideale anche per chi ha bambini poiché in estate è facilmente raggiungibile in auto e nei pressi della malga ci sono un piccolo parco giochi e gli animali della fattoria.
Dalla Malga in soli 45 minuti si raggiunge la panoramica cima del Monte Roen lungo il sentiero 500. In alternativa si può anche aggirare la cima passando dal Rifugio Oltradige e da qui imboccare la facile ferrata che sale alla cima.
Fa servizio di ristorazione per pranzi e cene, per queste ultime è necessaria la prenotazione. Inoltre dispone anche di 3 stanze per un totale di 12 posti letto.
