Das 1949/50 erbaute Haus liegt am Südrand eines wunderschönen Kessels direkt westlich des Seekarkreuzes (1601 m / Bayerische Voralpen). Von der Terrasse eröffnet sich ein traumhafter Blick nach Süden auf das Karwendel bis hinüber zum Wettersteingebirge.
