Die Hütte hat an den Wänden Holzbänke und vereinzelt Tisch und Bänke aus Holz im überdachten Teil. Außen liegen Holzstämme in einem großen Viereck um eine in steingefasste Grillstelle. es gibt eine große Mülltonne.
Die Hütte wurde von der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr 1978 erbaut und ist von Franken (Westen) kommend über einen Fahrweg mit dem PKW erreichbar. Sie liegt auf der linken Seite hinter einer kleinen Kapelle zwischen links dem Waldrand und rechts den Getreidefeldern.
