Hier oben bietet sich ein traumhafter Ausblick über das Elztal, hinüber zum Kinzigtal, hinauf zum Brandenkopf und in die Ferne bis hin zur Hornisgrinde, dem höchsten Berg des Nordschwarzwaldes.
In der Zeit von Mai bis Ende Oktober wird sie an Sonn- und Feiertagen bewirtet. Außerhalb dieser Zeiten ist eine Bewirtung für Gruppen auf Anfrage möglich.
