Im Jahr 2011 wurde die Juget-Alpe neu erbaut. Grund dafür ist ein verheerender Brand, der die Alpe zuvor zerstört hatte. Heute leben wieder 70 Stück Jungvieh auf der Juget-Alpe, um die sich die Betreiber kümmern.
Einladend ist sowohl der Ausblick von der Sonnenterrasse, als auch die schmackhaften Brotzeiten. Die Zutaten und Produkte hierfür stammen ausschließlich aus der Region. Das schreibt sich der Verein Allgäuer Alpgenuss e.V. auf die Fahne, bei dem die Betreiber mit ihrer Hütte Mitglied sind.
Zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad und sogar mit dem Kinderwagen ist die Alpe auf einer Wanderung über etwa 2 km gut zu erreichen. Ausgangspunkt ist der sogenannte Schlettermoosparkplatz zwischen Immenstadt und Missen.
