Im Süden des Hüttenkopfes befinden sich die Jochbachalphütten.
Diese sind von der Ortschaft Hinterhornbach über einen relativ leichten Aufstieg zu erreichen. Setzt man die Wanderung weiter in südwestliche Richtung fort, erreicht man das Hornbachjoch knapp nach der deutsch-österreichischen Grenze.
