Hof Hochscheid hiking hut

As one of the oldest organically run farms in the Saarland, this is a popular destination for day trips in the Bliesgau region. A walk across the Hochscheid offers a glimpse into organic vegetable cultivation all year round. As the highest point on the Hüttenwanderweg trail, the hiking hut – with its small selection of organic food and drink – is a popular stop-off for walkers and cyclists.

Hot dishes that change weekly, cold drinks, coffee and homemade cakes await you! As well as its own organic beef, the hiking hut naturally also offers vegetarian dishes. 

The kitchen uses its own organic vegetables in its cooking – fresh from the field to your plate. True to the motto: ‘Farm-to-table’.

We use only organically grown ingredients in the preparation of all our food and drinks.
