Hochstein-Hütte
Mit der Hochsteinhütte (2023m) betreibt der Alpenverein Sektion Lienz einen ideale Einkehrstätte für Skitourengeher, Schifahrer, Wanderer und Radfahrer. Die Hütte ist das Ausflugsziel für Jung und Alt mit einem herrlichen Panoramablick über Lienz und die Lienzer Dolomiten.
Im Sommer ist die Hütte über die mautpflichtige Bannberger Straße mittels Auto, bis auf 5 geh Minuten erreichbar. Auch Autobusse und Wohnmobile können auffahren.

The Hochstein or Böses Weibele is often done as a piste or near-piste route from Lienz. The ascent from Bannberg over open slopes is much quieter.
